Carlie (she/her) is a ceramic artist and illustrator living in Brooklyn. Right now she is working on a multi-media sculptural and painterly project, the focus of which are large handbuilt ceramic vessels formally inspired by the asymmetric composition of the female exterior. She is experimenting with different illustration methods on stoneware, in search of dissonance between true form and how we might choose to classify it.
